What is Charles Fraud?

Charles Fraud is, above all else, a means to take action, and call for others to join me.  Fraud, corruption, and exploitation are out of control.  The current state of affairs in this nation is reminiscent of Gotham City after Batman has been away for an extended time... and all hell has run amuck.  It's so bad, in fact, that an appreciable percentage of the population literally celebrated the murder of the CEO of United Health Care insurance company.  But primal rage can only achieve so much, and let me be clear, violence and anarchy are counterproductive to the Charles Fraud mission.  Nevertheless, going away quietly is not an option, either.

This ordeal started with my TD Ameritrade account being systematically defrauded in 2016-2017.  Then my Schwab account was targeted immediately after it was opened in 2018.  I have been involved in bitter legal battles since, but my focus here is to expose the sophisticated schemes that targeted me - without the legal distraction.

I am certain there are more victims out there.  Maybe you have a gut feeling that 'something is wrong' but don't know where to begin looking.  That's where I found myself 8 years ago.  Now, I am Charles Fraud, and  I've created this persona to disseminate the truth.   By sharing my work, I hope to assist others' investigations into their own brokerage accounts.  Quite honestly, I wish I would have been able to do this sooner.  Together, we can demand accountability and perhaps bring forth meaningful change.

There are some great investigators out there, and certainly there is impressive work being done, but there's just not enough truth-telling going on, especially considering the extent of the fraud and corruption that proliferates virtually everywhere.  Almost none of it is ever exposed, and even that which is revealed, in only a small fraction of cases is there meaningful action to stop the wrongdoing and deter future transgressions.

Well, I've decided now to throw my hat in the ring, so I'd appreciate you taking a few minutes to see if maybe I can tempt you to devote just a few more, and then as much as you can take.  Please spread the word that Charles Fraud is here.  Hopefully this movement will grow, and we'll expose far more than just the fraud that targeted my brokerage accounts years ago.

For now, I'll remain quasi-anonymous as Charles Fraud so long as it remains practical to do so (though I do not doubt that a dedicated internet sleuth could unmask me without too much effort... so be it).

The Charles Fraud Mission

Charles Fraud is about more than merely focusing on my experience.  It starts here, yes, but the issues here are bigger than fraud in the financial markets.  Trust in our nation's institutions has significantly eroded - both public and private.  As a society, we must push back to counterbalance the destructive forces.  This is not a political issue.  This is a cause whereby reasonable people should find common ground and agree that change is needed, and the time for action is now.

"I trusted TD Ameritrade and Schwab to live up to their reputations... and I got absolutely burned."

Neither TD Ameritrade or Schwab have acknowledged that fraud and theft occurred in my accounts.  It was shocking to me, literally unbelievable, that reputable brokerage firms, supposedly geared toward serving retail investors, would choose to wage intense lawfare and deny all wrongdoing without any hesitation.  It did not matter that I had identified clear errors and mistakes in the records, because they simply refused to acknowledge them, and astoundingly, that has been enough to escape accountability from the legal system and the regulatory authorities.  Not just a single error, but patterns of discrepancies that underscore serious vulnerabilities.  I reported my findings in good faith, naively expecting a fair resolution and compensation for damages.  Before long, I was told that I had already received full and satisfactory explanations, that my account activity was spot-checked and everything was confirmed to be proper.  Both TD Ameritrade and Schwab followed essentially the exact same playbook.  I felt like I was in an episode of the Twilight Zone, and it has lasted for 8 years.

I trusted TD Ameritrade and Schwab to act with integrity, and I got absolutely burned.   When I needed them to step up and correct errors and mistakes that definitely occurred, they instead contributed to the fraud by altering account data, prohibiting access to account records, refusing to answer simple questions, and all while insisting that all inquiries were duly investigated but no wrongdoing found.

"From early on, I knew they were hiding something big."

I was a frequent day trader in risky options.  I got lucky at times, but I admit it was just gambling and, quite frankly, in retrospect it was all rather stupid.  Still, financial institutions cannot justify theft from their clients because they deserved to lose their money!  Seriously, in a casino, when jackpots hit, they generally get paid without issue, and if a game is unvirtuously disrupted, then the money is returned and the game is reset, and everyone plays on.  TD Ameritrade and Schwab had multiple opportunities to do that, but they refused to offer any concession whatsoever.

From early on, I knew they were hiding something big.  After quite a struggle, I managed to unravel a great deal of what actually happened.  Eventually, I managed to decipher how money was able to virtually disappear.

And then I found more: TD Ameritrade and Schwab were colluding long before their official merger, and my closed TD Ameritrade account was instrumental in facilitating the whole ordeal, and my "closed" TD Ameritrade Account appears to have been instrumental in facilitating the scheme to make transactions and funds disappear from my Schwab Account.

"TD Ameritrade and Schwab were colluding long before their official merger..."

Had I known that, certainly I would not have opened a Schwab account in the midst of a bitter unresolved dispute with TD Ameritrade.  From day one at Schwab, my account was targeted, and the series of escalating transgressions is, quite frankly, unbelievable... until you see the proof.  They counted on the fact that no proof of theft would exist, but they did not count on me snapping screenshots of erroneous account figures - which ultimately became the key to start making sense of it all.

They covered their tracks extensively, but not perfectly.  I have the detailed receipts to back up my claims.  There is much more to the story, and I will continually be updating the website and hope to incorporate the input of others who may have similar experiences... and simply need to start looking.  Financial institutions regularly admit to thousands of missing transactions, millions and billions of misreported transactions, but if there is no 'counter party to the error' to speak of, then typically these are chalked up to internal recordkeeping errors, not systematic transaction misreporting to enable sophisticated fraudsters to "cherry pick" positions for exploitation via "coding errors."  The truth is, there are very clever ways to hide assets and transactions within the complexity of modern financial platforms, and in my case, they found incredibly discreet methods to make money virtually vanish, but it was not completely without a trace.

"They covered their tracks extensively, but not perfectly, and I have the detailed receipts to prove these claims my claims"

If enough people can demonstrate that there are meaningful errors being registered on the client side of the ledgers, then these recordkeeping glitches and "irregularities" and "coding errors" become much more meaningful than the benign mishaps that they are generally regarded to be.  Perhaps then the authorities will be convinced that a more effective deterrent needs to be established to protect retail investors from schemes that carry out theft and indeed manipulation of asset prices.  Well, Charles Fraud is at your service to help make this happen.  Let's dream big and instigate the change that is needed.  I humbly request that you spread the word... that Charles Fraud is here.
